Ways to manage frizzy hair

Are you unable to manage your frizzy hair? Do you get annoyed and frustrated with the way your hair looks? Don’t worry! There are a number of remedies available for controlling hair frizz. The first rule for getting frizz-free hair is to use hair shampoos, conditioners, and moisturizers according to your hair type. Opt for an anti-frizz shampoo, which is not too hard. Use a clarifying shampoo if you use styling products. However, do not shampoo your hair more often than twice a week.
Washing your hair on a daily basis can deprive your hair of its essential natural oils. Moreover, using too much shampoo can reduce the moisture content of your hair, making it frizzy. Use a good conditioner to moisturize your curls. Always choose a cream conditioner over an oil-based conditioner as the latter contributes to hair dryness. Do not deep condition your hair more than once a week. Additionally, use a leave-in conditioner every day to manage your hair. The oil content in these conditioners helps to smoothen and soften the hair frizz.
Secondly, never rub or comb your hair immediately after a hair wash. Always use a towel to squeeze out the extra moisture. Follow it up with an anti-frizz, silicone-containing serum. As these serums come fortified with proteins, they help to strengthen the hair and even protect against humidity. Preferably use a hair gel instead of a mousse. Always comb your hair with a wide-toothed comb. Avoid blow-drying too often. Use styling devices like curling rods and straightening irons only when absolutely necessary.
Make sure that you wear a hat or a scarf to protect your hair against the adverse effects of ultraviolet rays. Oil your hair once a week to strength them. Massaging your scalp with almond or olive oil will provide sufficient nutrition to your hair, keeping them moist, soft, and crimp-free. Lastly, include a variety of fruits and vegetables in
your diet to get all the vital nutrients, especially vitamins and minerals, which are essential for healthy hair.
